  • I need sleep!!!!!!!

Well, it's time for my 4-6 month update!  Aren't you excited?  I know that I am.  Well...I am at Truett-McConnell trying to finish up a 4-year degree in 5 years...at least I hope it takes only one more year.  Then it's off to New Orleans (probably, maybe Texas...or Atlanta?) to go to seminary.  I'll probably wait till I get married and get on my feet for a few years before I take that step.  Speaking of love...I have the most amazing girlfriend in the world...it's been about 10 1/2 months and she keeps getting more and more amazing everyday.  I get to go camping this weekend!!!!  I hope it isn't as cold and stormy as it was camping the weekend before this weekend.  But if it is, I have a tent and a very warm mummy sleeping bag and a warm Colombia jacket that I can wear.

Okay, I would love to stay on and write you a book about the last 4 months since my last entry but I have to try and get some sleep.  I cut out caffeene for the past 2 weeks and then I drank some earlier today for the first time..it's now 4:20 am...haha...my body won't be still.  I'm gonna go and try and lay down.  There may be another entry later on but I hope not.

    Peace.

    - Come Awake, You Are My Joy

Haha!  I haven't written in this thing in so dang long.  Life is going great.  I used to write a lot about my love life or lack there of.  I probably could have found more meaningful things to write about.  I learned that if you pray about it and wait on God that He will send you someone so amazing that you wake up every morning and pinch yourself to see if you dreamt it all.  I love you Brookeanna!

School is still giving me fits. I was supposed to graduate this coming spring but I switched to the 5 year plan last year (maybe the 5 1/2 year plan because of internships).  AAAHH!!!!  I will love it when I am out of school and can live a normal life.  But I know God has me there for a purpose so I need to be looking to Him for help in that situation.

How 'bout them Dawgs?  Gotta love 'em.  Well, it's getting about time to get some work done.  I have two 10-12 page papers due in a few weeks and the outlines are due this week.  Work time...

    I'm out.  Peace.

Well, I survived Singles Awareness Day.  Me and my brother went out to eat to celebrate being single and then I took myself on an expensive date to Super Walmart and got two cd's, Rascal Flatts new cd and the Evanescence Live cd.  The Evanescence live is alright but the sound mix isn't too good between the instruments.  It sounds like they fade in and out at times in different songs.  The Rascal Flatts is good though.

Everything else is going great.  I still haven't gone fishing.  I just stand in the sporting goods and look at fishing poles and drooling.  Ok, maybe it isn't that bad.  I don't have a SWAT weekend during the 3rd or 4th weekend of March and I've already told my dad to get the boat ready to go.

Well, it's getting about time to start on some work.  I have a lexical analysis due next week and it's gonna take a while to get this done.  Just a little background...lexical analysis is where you look at the Greek word and find a whole bunch of other related materials on one single word from one single verse and then write a 2 page paper on it.  I'm chomping at the bit to get this started, I tell ya' what

    Time to work...I'm out.  Peace.

  • Well, it's official...I have caught it...there is no cure except to do what I have to do.  I'm talking about fishing.  I have caught the fishing fever.  Today was one of those days where the weather was great except for a little wind and I have been seeing boats all around town.  I have to get to the lake sometime soon or I'm going to go crazy.  What I would give to feel the pull of a bass on the other end of my line and to watch the sun set on the lake while I smell like fish.  That's the life for me.  It's not going to get warm for a little while longer so I guess I'm going to have to find a fishing game for the Xbox or something like that until I can get to the lake.

Thanks Julie for the advice.  I'm gonna try and get up enough courage to do it.  What do I have to loose?  Nothing at all.

Well, I have some work to do and I don't want it to get too late.  I'm out.  Peace.
